We first erected a platform from young larch trunks that had been debarked by hand and then placed the hut made from brushed spruce hardwood planks on top. The restored industrial glass windows from the Wilhelminian era, fitted with safety glass, came from the demolition of a mill building, and the scaled-down, freshly painted door from a dilapidated farmhouse. The two trunks of the tree fork form a kind of "room divider" between the platform with railings and the tree house, and Lilly and her friends can now reach their tree platform via a convenient ladder and pass between the two trunks through the tree fork into their tree house. From here, she can look through the little windows into the garden and at her parents' house.

Treehouse
Lilly was supposed to get a tree house for her 6th birthday. The location: a modern villa near the city in a long garden with beautiful trees. A walnut tree forked just above the turf was ideal for the tree house, which was erected at a height of around two and a half metres.
