From the spacious terrace you can look down on the stream, meadow and fields between the branches of a huge, old white poplar tree. The hut, a timber-framed building made of rough-sawn spruce boards, is insulated against cold and heat with hemp panels. The rear ventilation of the walls ensures air circulation and a pleasant room climate. Spruce three-layer panels line the interior walls. A small, old wood stove that I found at a flea market provides heat and hot tea water. The old steel windows come from a mill building and were equipped with insulating glass. One of the window reveals serves as a comfortable seat.
The double bed made of thuja wood with a spacious bed drawer can be pushed together to form a sofa. A restored old wooden locker from a demolished house provides the necessary storage space. Candles and lanterns as well as lanterns provide cozy lighting for the interior and terrace. The ten meter long larch staircase rests on a disused telegraph pole and leads over a neighboring tree, from which you can reach the terrace via a sloping bridge.
