The platform (5 x 5 meters) including a comfortable staircase, all made of larch heartwood, was completed last November, while the hut made of green glazed spruce three-layer panels (2 x 2.5 meters) could only be lifted up by crane truck this June. Doors and windows made from recycled, white glazed found objects.

The reason for the delay was that the old lime tree is apparently also a nature reserve, which is why no screws may be attached to it. In order not to disappoint the young, expectant future users of the tree house, the project was nevertheless continued and the following measures were taken in consultation with the city garden office instead of a complete dismantling: We subsequently placed the platform, which until then had been supported on the trunk as usual, on 8 drilled-in foundations arranged around the tree trunk and removed all points of contact with the tree trunk.
