The two of them introduced me to their "Kugelbaumhaus", a complex structure made of bent larch wood and a customised tarpaulin roof, which they have exhibited at various trade fairs.
The first model is slightly raised on the ground. Now this elegant structure was to be attached to a thick pine tree in a customer's garden under the name "re.treehouse", for which my experience was required.
After an arborist was called in to be on the safe side, who declared the tree house to be safe for the tree, we were given the go-ahead in October.
First, we built the octagonal platform around the pine trunk together. In the next step, we built a slightly spiral staircase to access the platform, which is around 170cm high.
From now on, Moritz and Julian set to work on their own to complete the spherical structure made of laminated arched trusses and a tarpaulin roof.
We enjoyed working together, had fun and are proud of our joint work!
